Burgoyne Bay

Burgoyne Bay - Salt Spring Island

From the parking lot at Burgoyne Bay you can take a path at the bottom of the lot to go to Daffodil Point, however there are paths to the south of the parking lot that head into a different set of trails.

The trails to the south have a lot of relatively flat routes, so if you want something a bit easier this is a great walk.

If you keep walking past the beach the grade gets a bit steeper, but not too difficult.  If you’re up for a bit of a hike you can keep going as the park is quite large.

The paths are nice and wide with good footing, and there is lots of beautiful scenery wherever you walk.

On this trip to Burgoyne Bay we saw at least four sea otters out in the bay. From all the activity in the water it’s likely they were fishing.
