More photos of Daffodil Point Photos from one of our walks to Daffodil Point at Burgoyne Bay, Salt Spring Island Nice wide path Conglomerate sedimentary rock that has fallen from Mt Maxwell (a long time ago, don’t worry!) One of the many perfectly framed views of Burgoyne Bay and Sansum Narrows It’s always fun to turn over the beach rocks to see what is underneath. Just be gentle and put them back. At low tide you can explore some of the tidal pools for interesting creatures. Depending on the season there will be different plants in bloom. In this healthy ecosystem there are reptiles like this Garter snake. They won’t hurt you, and they stay hidden away most of the time.
